30ft Used Storage Container

Shipping containers as standard come in 20ft & 40ft lengths. To form a 30ft Shipping Container, a standard 40ft Shipping Container is cut down from a good condition used, wind and watertight cargo worthy shipping container. The double doors or end panel is then re-welded into position (also known as “cut & shut”). The width and height of 30ft containers is the same as standard length units (8ft 6″ high & 8ft wide).

Unless otherwise stated, due to the fabrication our 30ft containers are re-sprayed externally in our traditional dark green (although other colours are available on request – costs of other colours will depend on the colour). We also weld a lockbox on the double doors for security. 

These containers are popular when you just don’t quite have the space for a full 40ft shipping container, or need something slightly bigger than a 20ft container.

Shipping containers are manufactured using high quality corrugated cor-ten steel which is designed to stand up to the harsh rigours of sea conditions. We would expect a properly maintained used refurbished shipping container to last you in excess of 20 years from date of purchase. A 30ft steel container refurbished by us will also last just as long.

Your container comes as standard fitted with a lock box (a steel box welded on the double doors to enclose a padlock thus making it less tamper-proof).

We manufacture these units throughout our Germany or Turkey depots and they are generally ready for delivery approx. 7-10 working days from confirmation of order. 

Unless otherwise specified, we will deliver your shipping container on a HIAB assisted vehicle (we will lift the container to ground where you need it). Please provide us with your delivery postcode when you enquire.  

Note that a cut-down size such as a 30ft shipping container is likely to cost more foot-for-foot than a standard size container such as a 20ft or 40ft. But as we are cutting down the container, we can actually cut this to any length you require – so if you need a 32ft container instead of a 30ft we can also do this.
